Roahl Dahl will forever be linked to his most famous work “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”. But this famous British author had a darker side. He was a spinner of strange horror and suspense tales. Like a cross between Ray Bradbury, Rod Serling, and Edgar Allen Poe, each story left you a little uneasy when it was over. But always wanting more.

01 Man From the South - Yep, this story was done in both versions of Alfred Hitchcock’s television series. But here we see it as the author intended. (To be honest, you’d have to be a complete morons not to get this story right.)

02 Mrs. Bixby and the Colonel’s Coat - A woman comes up with an elaborate scheme in order to keep a fur coat. Nice ending which makes you wish the show was another 5-10 minutes so you could see what would have happened next.

04 Lamb to the Slaughter - Another story it would be hard to mess up. And yet another reason why some stories are good enough to see again.

11 Skin - Creepy isn’t a strong enough word for this tale of a tattoo artist who has a valuable piece of artwork.

14 Poison - Scared of snakes? Good. This is exactly the right episode you should see.
A man finds a snake on his chest. What to do, what to do...
43 The Best Policy - Nice vehicle for Gary Burghoff who shows amazing interest in life's little details.
