Q: Did you get my e-mail? You didn't reply to it.
I probably did get it, just haven't read it yet. Unlike many people I don't check my e-mail every day.
Q: What type of tapes do you use?
I've had no problems whatsoever with RCA/Sony/JVC 10-pack tapes therefore that's what I use and what I'd like in return. Positively I DO NOT want generic or MGM tapes.
Q: Are you one of those people who require excellent quality recordings?
Not really. But some programs I really would like in that condition. Another reason is that I may already know others who want a copy of the one I'm getting.
Q: Are you one of those people who require commercials?
Again, not really. Only the more recent programs I'm looking for might need to have the commercials. It really just matters on the program. For older programs, even those listed as excellent on my want list, don't have to have the original commercials. Those would just be a nice added bonus.
Q: Are you one of those people who require LBX/Hi-Fi/Letterbox/Directors cut...?
Uh...no...and you're beginning to scare me. As long as it's complete then I'm happy.
Q: Are you slow in sending stuff off?
Sometimes. Mattering on what's going on in my life, how much trading I have going on, etc., etc., influences how fast a trade will be made. Yes, sometimes trades may take longer than you feel is appropriate. But hopefully we will be able to come to an understanding on the time frame before the trading even begins.
Q: You have a big want list but I don't have anything on it can we still trade?
Sure. I would prefer to trade for what's listed but I'm always looking for new and interesting items. It's best if you select what you want and send me your have list. This way I can know how much stuff I can choose from. In general, here are the topics I'm most interested in...
(a) Movies or TV Shows/Individual Episodes which have wrestling, boxing,
martial arts, or bodybuilding as the theme
(b) Complete televised wrestling shows pre-1985
(c) Science Fiction/Horror anthology series
Q: Do you want any Screeners or Camcorder movies?
No screeners. But camcorder wrestling matches may be okay.
Q: How do you equate what you have and what I have?
See each individual section for trading criteria.
Q: But my stuff is LBX/Hi-Fi/Letterbox/Directors cut...
You're scaring me again.
Q: What do you want in trade for your originals?
Each original tape you want I'll accept either...
One Original OR 3- 6 hour dubs
Trading terms may be lowered mattering on tape time of my original.
Dubs listed are traded according to tape and/or time.
Q: What if when all is said and done I don't have anything you want?
Then you can purchase them. Pricing information is located in each section.
Q: Are you really selling originals for $10? I mean, they're the same price as the dubs.
YES! If you select one of the tapes listed in a section labeled `original' you will receive an actual original tape. Most are used video store tapes or ones which have been traded to me. I've watched them, possibly enjoyed them, and now I'm just passing them on. (See the underground wrestling section for different pricing info.)
Q: What type of payment do you accept?
All payments have to be United States Postal Money Orders. This way I can cash them at the post office and send the package at the same time. If you are outside the United States you can get an International Postal Money Order which works the same way. (Check to make sure your country can do this.) The international ones cost about $4 and that price will be deducted from any extra postage cost. (If you're in Canada I just call it even.)
Q: Hey, you used packing peanuts?!?!? They're bad for the environment!
Yep and that's why I `m using them instead of throwing them away! Whenever people send them to me I keep and reuse them when needed and I suggest you do the same.
Q: Why do you send stuff Special Fourth Class - Videotape rate?
When I started trading on the net I kept track and found the time it takes me to get packages sent First Class is the same time it takes me to get Special Fourth ones. Ask your local postal worker. First Class rate is `generally delivered in 2-3 days.' But what you need to realize is that 2-3 days is between major cities. It may be one, two, or even three days longer mattering where you live. Also, you can save as much as $2 per single video sent.
Q: What about shipping tapes overseas?
Packages sent overseas are sent by Airmail. Yes there's a huge price savings in sending stuff by Sea Mail but the time it takes for packages to arrive is staggering.
