*Sergi* vs *Yung*

These kickboxers do a lot more than just kick during their wrestling match. Knife edge blows and chops to all parts of their bodies are evident as the ref has a tough time making sure the blows are legal.

Yung gets the Russian on the mat and hammers and Sergi’s right thigh. Continual knees slam and grind into the hard flesh. Sergi kicks Young back but find it difficult to get to his feet. A back-kick to the middle of Sergi’s face sends him back to the mat. The dazed martial artist doesn’t have a chance as the oriental applies a figure four. Sergi reaches for the ropes as the strain of the hold wears his resolve. Yung arches and the pain increases. Sergi is only a short distance away from the ropes but it might as well be a mile. All he can think of is his tree trunk legs being turned into thin branches. The Russian lies on the mat until another arching brings his attention back to his predicament and a submission is given.

*Andrew* vs *David*

David storms into Andrew’s family barn. Andrew is shirtless but has his suspenders up. His back is to the angry David who takes big strides in order to reach Andrew.

“You lied your ass off to try and get my spot on the wrestling team!” David yells, “But it didn’t work. We’re wrestling tomorrow and when I beat your ass...”

But David doesn’t finish. Andrew turned around with a thick branch in his hand and slams it into the side of David’s face. (He was stacking chopped wood before he was interrupted.)

“If anyone’s ass is going to be beaten it’s yours,” Andrew says as he noticed David already had his shirt off, and thus was ready for a fight.

David shakes it off just in time to stop Andrew from hitting him again. A kick to the side makes Andrew drop the wood to the ground. A back-kick to the gut has Andrew jarred a little. But only a little. David’s punch is blocked and his hurt jaw is on the receiving end of Andrew’s cocked fist.

“The trouble with you...” Andrew says as he uses the still held arm of his opponent to bring David close enough to land a knee in the gut, “...is you think you’re so hot doing that karate shit.”

Andrew then slugs the sore jaw again, “You don’t have the balls to be a real wrestler.”

David goes down to the ground as Andrew picks up the dropped branch. He swings it like a bat and lucky for David he’s able to block it with his arm. The downed man retaliates with a upward kick to Andrew’s balls. Andrew’s shock gives David enough time to get a good grip on the branch and shove it into Andrew’s chin. Andrew still has his hands on the branch as it’s continually thrusted into his face.

David finally pulls the branch away and tosses it to the side. Andrew instinctively dives toward David but that’s the wrong thing to do. David sidesteps his opponent and takes him to the ground. Putting a well placed knee on Andrew’s back, David wraps his hands under Andrew’s sore chin and pulls back. Andrew claws the dirt soil as his head throbs in pain.

“Let’em up!” yells a man entering the barn. It was their wrestling coach, “I thought something like this was gonna happen.”

David gets off Andrew and stands back. The coach just stands there as he waits for Andrew to get to his feet on his own.

He takes his time, but when Andrew finally gets to his feet the coach says, “I saw the whole thing. You think you’re gonna be on my team with that kinda attitude? You could have seriously hurt him.”

Turning toward David, “And you. I told you to stay clear of him until you were on the mats tomorrow. Get in the car, I’ll take you home.”

As David leaves he hears the coach chewing Andrew out even more followed by several whimpering responses of, “Sorry, Dad.”

David Chavet
vs
Antonino Sabato Jr.

During his stint on the soap opera "General Hospital," Sabata Jr.'s character entered the boxing ring a few times. In "High Voltage" he takes more than a few bumps.

Chavet's character on the television series "Baywatch" entered a kick-boxing tournament in the episode entitled "Kicks."

Chavet will want to stay on the mat. He has to because Sabato Jr.'s upper body and arm strength could be devastating. If Chavet gets put in a regular or reverse bearhug consider the match over. But Sabato Jr. needs to watch out for Chavet's quickness or he may find himself going out via a sleeper hold. Surprisingly enough both men avoid the other's killer moves.

While on the mat, Sabato Jr. literally lifts Chavet off the mat and puts him in a full nelson cross-body scissors. Getting to the seated position, Sabato Jr. grinds it in. The former Baywatch star's face and sides start turning a bright red as Sabato Jr. continues to grind into Chavet's back. As Chavet leans forward he literally picks Sabato Jr. off the mats. A slight snap in Chavet’s back proceeds a submission.
